A partnership built around creating meaningful, lasting pieces from nature’s most beautiful material.

Kim and Karl didn’t originally meet in a woodshop—they met through real estate.

Karl was Kim’s realtor when she was searching for a home. Somewhere between property visits, conversations about spaces, and imagining what a place could become, they discovered something unexpected: a shared appreciation for wood, craft, and creating things by hand.

That connection eventually found its way into the workshop.

Today, Kim and Karl work side by side designing and building furniture that celebrates the natural beauty of wood. Their pieces highlight the grain, movement, and character of each board, letting the material itself guide the design.

Kim brings an eye for how pieces live within a space. She’s drawn to the feeling a table or bench creates—the gathering place for meals, conversations, morning coffee, and everyday moments.

Karl brings a deep respect for craftsmanship and structure. With a focus on traditional joinery and thoughtful construction, he ensures each piece is built to last for generations.

Together, they create furniture that balances artistry and strength. From live-edge tables to sculpted benches and one-of-a-kind pieces made from wood burl, every project is crafted slowly and intentionally.

No two pieces are the same. Each slab carries its own story—shaped by weather, time, and growth—and Kim and Karl work to honor that story rather than hide it.

What began as a house search turned into something much more: a partnership built around creating meaningful, lasting pieces from nature’s most beautiful material.
